What your reading here is a PAGE that is fully editable in the admin area using the standard WordPress editing tools. Just create a Page named “Home”, select the “Homepage” template from the drop-down menu and select the page to be the home page right from the admin. Content, Images and anything you put in the post will show here. Very easy, very flexible.
Optional Home Page Layout
An optional home page layout is also included with the eMotion theme. It displays a “Featured Slider” style home page with no sidebar or the content area like what you are reading. Very Clean, portfolio-forward look. This gives you 2 cool options for the home page that are super easy to handle. You can also easily omit the “home” or any other page from appearing in the navigation using the built in feature in the Custom Theme Options panel.
Five… Yup 5… Widget Areas
This theme has FIVE widget areas – Home page Sidebar, Blog Sidebar, Footer (left, middle and right). There are also Two custom widget-like “Thumbnail Widgets” to show Featured Posts and Latest From the Blog thumbnails and a twitter feed that you can turn on or off from the option page.
